About the City
Annecy is located 22 miles south of Geneva in the Rhone-Alps region in the North of the French Alps and it is known as the Venice of Savoie. The medieval town centre built around a 14th century Chateau is dissected by small canals and streams running out of Lake Annecy, which is clean, fresh and has a wonderful azure color.
